Our Outreach Graduate Assistant Adeyemi Badewa will give a presentation on Party Systems in Nigeria. TIPSS operates in sessions once a month. There are 2 sessions with 3 presenters each session (3 from UK, China, Mexico, Russia, Nigeria and Iran each session). We have presenters from the NRCs (usually professors) speak to specific issues that we cover in the class.
This conference features 30 minute Powertalks from fellow educators, curriculum providers, and community organizations who are looking to partner with you to engage your students in learning. This event was an outreach opportunity for the UCIS centers to engage with local educators.

The Foreign Language & Area Studies (FLAS) Fellowship program is a prestigious and competitive award that allows select Pitt undergraduate and graduate students to devote full-time attention to their chosen modern foreign language and area studies specialty.
