The EUCE/ESC awards small grants of less than $500 each to full-time faculty at the University of Pittsburgh Oakland campus to provide support for research-related travel, conferences, and to help sponsor visitors who will give a public lecture at the University of Pittsburgh on a topic relevant to West Europe and European Studies.
The purpose of a small grant is to supplement departmental or other funding. The EUCE/ESC will also announce the co-sponsored lecture to its affiliated students, faculty and community members.
Application Procedure
Faculty may make a request at any time. Grants are made on a rolling basis until the funds are depleted. Faculty may request a small grant by emailing the request to the Associate Director, Timothy Thompson. (tst at pitt.edu)
