The EUCE/ESC awards small grants of less than $500 each to full-time faculty at the University of Pittsburgh Oakland campus to provide support for research-related travel, conferences, and to help sponsor visitors who will give a public lecture at the University of Pittsburgh on a topic relevant to West Europe and European Studies.

Jean Monnet ad personam Chairs are teaching and research posts with a specialization in European integration studies. In addition to teaching and research, faculty who hold these posts regularly organize conferences, seminars, and roundtables focused on European integration.
The Library Research Advisor is an appointed Teaching Fellow from the EUCE/ESC and s/he works together with Phil Wilkin, the EU Delegation Library Bibliographer. French Immersion Institute – Area secondary school French teachers have an opportunity to maintain or improve their language skills, develop understanding of French or Franco-African culture, and to share relevant teaching strategies.
