JOIN US FOR AN ONLINE PUPPET JAM! Come hang out with other creatives via Zoom to watch a short film by Isaac Kerlow who uses shadow puppet techniques and computer simulation in SHADOWS. Then create your own shadow puppet theater, while sharing ideas and showing off your favorite creations with new friends.This casual workshop session is for puppet enthusiasts ages 10-13 who want to connect with other puppet makers, story tellers, and creatives. All materials are included in registration and will be available for pick up at the Chidren’s Museum of Pittsburgh.
Join the Center for Russian, East European & Eurasian Studies and the Asian Studies Center for a demonstration and tasting of Japanese green teas. We will discuss tea in the context of regional conflicts, starting with the Russo-Japanese war, and guide the audience in the proper brewing techniques.

Religious activity is a central feature of social life in contemporary Taiwan, a condition with deep historical roots. Content specialists present the work and its context, and together we brainstorm innovative pedagogical practices for incorporating the text and its themes into the curriculum. Sessions this year will take place virtually on Thursday evenings from 5-7:30 PM. Books and Act 48 credit are provided.
