The Panther Leadership Summit, hosted by the Office of Cross Cultural Leadership Development, is an opportunity for student leaders to engage in leadership training and professional development. UCIS hosts a cross-cultural simulation, BaFa BaFa, for students to better understand the influence of ingrained rules of culture and the difficulty of adapting to a new (foreign) culture.

SCREENSHOT: ASIA and the Asian Studies Center present Hot Nights/Cold War, a primer on teaching the Cold War using film. We'll be examining films from Cambodia, North Korea, and Vietnam and discussing how to integrate film into the classroom. The event also includes a take-home PowerPoint curriculum component.
