Fri, 09/30/2011 - 15:00 to 16:30

Join the Office of Cross Cultural and Leadership Development as we enjoy traditional ceremonies presented by our international students.

The Korean tea ceremony or darye is a traditional form of tea ceremony practiced in Korea. Darye literally refers to "etiquette for tea" or "day tea rite" and has been kept among Korean people for a few thousand years.

Ethiopia's coffee ceremony is an integral part of their social and cultural life. An invitation to attend a coffee ceremony is considered a mark of friendship or respect and is an excellent example of Ethiopian hospitality.
