Kent Moors is Professor in the Department of Political Science and the Graduate Center for Social and Public Policy at Duquesne University, where he also directs the Energy Policy Research Group.

President of the Czech Republic, Vaclav Klaus, will give a lecture via videoconfernce on the topic 'Europe, the Systemic Consequences of the Slowly Abating Crisis and the Need to Re-Formulate the Case for Capitalism.'

Speed Friending is a fun, easy and fast way for students at the University of Pittsburgh to meet new people and make friends! This free event is designed to introduce international students at Pitt to American students at Pitt, and vice versa. Speed Friending is for making friends, not dating. Students will get 5-10 minutes to talk briefly and get to know each other. After that time, a bell will ring and they will move on to talk to the next person. Refreshments will be served. Advance registration is required by Tuesday, September 21, 2010. Seating is limited.
