The Ukrainian Community of Western Pennsylvania (UCOWPA), in partnership with the University of Pittsburgh, cordially invites you to the “HOVERLA” Ukrainian American Film Festival – a multi-weekend event that begins this Saturday, October 5, 2013 at the Frick Fine Arts Auditorium in Oakland and will continue through October 26, 2013.

African Festival
Please join us in celebration of Africa and the African culture! Not only will you learn about the beauty and complexity of the continent, but you will get the chance to meet and talk to people who have lived in or visited Africa. At this festival, there will be a panel of students discussing current hot topics in Africa; African art and fashion exhibit; a slideshow of pictures students have taken while traveling in Africa with short captions or stories or brief overviews; and, African food.
