Members of the Nationality Rooms Committees will be in their respective rooms to greet visitors during homecoming. They will be available to provide information about their rooms and discuss membership and events.
The European Studies Center has partnered with the Pittsburgh Irish Festival. We are pleased to be able to offer discounted admission to all Pitt students, faculty, and staff. Just go to pghirishfest.org and use the promo code H2PITT to receive $2 of discounted advance tickets. A FREE shuttle will take Pitt students to and from the festival grounds! The shuttle will run from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm Friday, and 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Saturday. Board outside Posvar Hall on Schenley Drive.
NAMO occurs in the Schenley Quad on the Tuesday during Alcohol Awareness Week every October. NAMO aims to raise awareness about the effects of alcohol consumption. The Resident Student Association (RSA) executive board, in collaboration with Residence Life and Study Abroad, organizes this event in which all hall councils and RA staffs participate. In addition, RSA invites other registered student organizations to apply to participate in this event.

Opening night of the 2017 Italian Film Festival USA of Pittsburgh is almost here! Don't miss the blockbuster hit Like Crazy on March 30, at 7 p.m. at the Frick Fine Arts Auditorium, located at on the campus of the University of Pittsburgh.

The 11th annual CMU International Film Festival will run from Thursday, March 23 to Sunday, April 9. This year focuses on creating conversations about race, sexuality, gender, and ethnicity through the theme of "Faces of Identity." Opening night on Thursday, March 23 features a 2016 film "I, Daniel Blake" followed by a moderated Q&A session with Pitt Professor Roger Rouse.

A family oriented around-the-world celebration of Spring, such an egg decorating workshop, Easter egg display and sale, palm weaving demonstration, Spring flower making, and origami. Cultures represented are Carpathian-Rusyn, Chinese, Filipino, German, Irish, Japanese, Lithuanian, Polish, and Ukrainian. Admission is free and all are welcome.
