French Immersion Institute – Area secondary school French teachers have an opportunity to maintain or improve their language skills, develop understanding of French or Franco-African culture, and to share relevant teaching strategies. The European Union Center of Excellence, with partial funding from the European Commission, offers grants for research related to post-World War II European integration for University of Pittsburgh faculty in any department or school. The grants typically range in size from $2,500 to $7,500.
