The Library Research Advisor is an appointed Teaching Fellow from the EUCE/ESC and s/he works together with Phil Wilkin, the EU Delegation Library Bibliographer. If you are a Pitt student who wants to write a paper on a topic related to Western Europe and/or the European Union, the advisor can help you with the following:
Model NATO – Model NATO is a simulation of a North Atlantic Council meeting. During the 2-day conference which occurs each March, students from across the US play the role of national ambassadors to NATO from one or more of the 26 member states and work to resolve issues facing the Alliance.

The EUCE/ESC offers two certificates for undergraduate students regardless of school or major. The Certificate in West European Studies (WES) provides students with strong interests in predominantly Western European history, culture, politics, and languages to complement their major with a regional specialization.
