The EUCE/ESC is committed to enhancing undergraduate education through interdisciplinary study of Europe and the European Union. In addition to coursework, students are encouraged to pursue opportunities outside the classroom. Model NATO – Model NATO is a simulation of a North Atlantic Council meeting. During the 2-day conference which occurs each March, students from across the US play the role of national ambassadors to NATO from one or more of the 26 member states and work to resolve issues facing the Alliance.

The EUCE/ESC offers two certificates for undergraduate students regardless of school or major. The Certificate in West European Studies (WES) provides students with strong interests in predominantly Western European history, culture, politics, and languages to complement their major with a regional specialization.
