Graduate Student Conference -During the spring semester the EUCE/ESC hosts its anual Graduate Student Conference on topics related to the EU or to transatlantic relations.  Organized by graduate students, this conference gives students from North American and European institutions an opportunity to present their research to peers and faculty.   

Academic Requirements:

There are four Certificate requirements:
1) Language Proficiency
2) Area Studies Courses
3) A Research Paper
4) Graduation with a graduate or a professional degree

1) Language Courses

The EUCE/ESC offers opportunities for graduate students to develop and expand their understanding and knowledge about Europe and the European Union through its Graduate Certificate Programs.

The EUCE/ESC is committed to enhancing undergraduate education through interdisciplinary study of Europe and the European Union. In addition to coursework, students are encouraged to pursue opportunities outside the classroom. Information about scholarships, fellowships, and internships during and after their undergraduate career is found below.

Model NATO – Model NATO is a simulation of a North Atlantic Council meeting. During the 2-day conference which occurs each March, students from across the US play the role of national ambassadors to NATO from one or more of the 26 member states and work to resolve issues facing the Alliance.
