Graduate European Studies Group

Under the guidance of the Center Director, the EUCE/ESC has established the Graduate European Studies Group (GESG) to provide students advice on effective paths for matriculation through graduate school.  GESG sessions provide students additional opportunities to consult with both the Director and the Center's graduate advisor.  Previous session topics have included selecting a dissertation subject that will enhance a student's academic career, strategies for requesting letters of recommendation, and approach

Events for Graduates

Graduate Student Conference -During the spring semester the EUCE/ESC hosts its anual Graduate Student Conference on topics related to the EU or to transatlantic relations.  Organized by graduate students, this conference gives students from North American and European institutions an opportunity to present their research to peers and faculty.
