This event will provide a forum for discussion on doing research and writing about Africa and the African Diaspora. It is a great opportunity for students already doing research or wishing to begin doing research on Africa and the African Diaspora to learn about various approaches, and resources available at Pitt. Faculty and student presenters will lead the discussions based on their own research experiences from diverse disciplines and viewpoints.
Join the African Studies Program for an informal panel discussion featuring Pitt students! This panel will explore themes of identity, community, and personal histories. Lunch will be provided, so come early!

As part of the International Toolkit Series, come to hear about government and intelligence work in the Navy. The Navy provides an opportunity to get first hand work in government agencies and intelligence work directly out of college. Through the Navy, students would be able to get on the job, valuable experience with national security within months of graduation.
