United under the Pitt Global name, UCIS advances the University’s global vision, offers global experience on campus and abroad, and supports multidisciplinary research with global impact.
The unit is home to the Pitt’s global and area studies centers, international funding for students and faculty, study abroad programs, services for international students and scholars, global operations support, international programs for K-12 schools, and the world-renowned Nationality Rooms.
