Latinx Cluster Initiative Support Assistant (Summer 2024 start)

The Latinx Cluster Initiative Support Assistant position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the Center for Ethnic Studies Research's mission in fostering interdisciplinary research and dialogue around Latinx issues. The selected student will provide essential support to the initiatives outlined on the Latinx Cluster Initiative website, aiding in various tasks to promote engagement, research, and collaboration within the Latinx community. This position is fully remote, $15-$20 per hour. Due to the highly competitive nature of this position, a cover letter is required. Applications without cover letters will not be considered. ASEEES Student Assistant (Fall 2024 start)

The Office of the Association for Slavic, East European, and Eurasian Studies is looking for a student assistant to help with various office tasks, including clerical work, proofreading the newsletter, maintaining some webpages, and doing some research as necessary. This position will be hybrid, $10-$15 per hour. Learn more here.
 

Latin American Studies Ambassador (Fall 2024 start)

The Center for Latin American Studies (CLAS) is seeking 3-4 Student Ambassadors to assist the Assistant Director for Academic Affairs with recruiting, orientation, and other aspects of the undergraduate programs in Latin American Studies. The incumbent will be asked to make classroom presentations about CLAS and to represent Latin American, Caribbean, and Latinx Studies at various events on campus. Ambassadors must be able to speak comfortably in front of a large groups, proficiency in Spanish or Portugese is preferred. This is a fully on-campus position, $12 per hour. Learn more here.
