Alex Aleco Krikorian-Hameline

Aleco joined the Office of International Services in 2024. Originally from Glendale, CA, Alex earned a GSWS degree from the University of Pittsburgh as a non-traditional student with a research focus on creative practice and archival ethics, Armenian diaspora experience and language, and horror studies. Prior to joining the OIS, Alex guided students navigating research and internship opportunities as an advisor in Pitt's Career Center. With a passion for empowering people through new and challenging processes, Alex is thrilled to be part of the OIS Student Team and support the vibrant international community here.
