Randall Halle

Randall Halle is the Klaus W. Jonas Professor of German Film and Cultural Studies and the Director of the European Studies Center at the University of Pittsburgh. His research has focused on European film and cultural policy, processes of Europeanization, and transnationalism. Prof. Halle is the author of numerous books and essays including The Europeanization of Cinema: Interzones and Imaginative Communities. He has received awards from the Fulbright, NEH, DAAD, and most recently was a fellow at the Project House Europe in Munich. He is a member of the Executive Committees of the Council for European Studies and the European Union Studies Association and he is Editor-in-Chief of EuropeNow.
