Competing Perspectives on Global Energy: From Western Pennsylvania to Eastern Europe
Current natural gas and other energy sectors impact the economy, environment, and policy in western Pennsylvania—and throughout the world. We are pleased to announce a call for applications for full-time and part-time community college and/or MSI faculty to obtain up to $3,000 of funding to participate in a two-week course.
This course provides a first-hand experience of the global impact of contemporary developments in the natural gas and other energy sectors. Study sites for this two-week course include Braddock and Washington County, PA; Washington, DC; Brussels, Belgium; and Kyiv, Ukraine. Participants will visit companies, extraction and transportation facilities, various government and civic organizations; they will also participate in lectures by local stakeholders and specialists.
