CLAS@Pitt Monthly Calendar/December 2023

CLAS MONTHLY NEWSLETTER

A note from CLAS Associate Director:

The Fall 2023 semester is nearly done, after what we hope was a restful and fulfilling Thanksgiving break. Up next is a flurry of activity and excitement in anticipation of the winter break. We wish all our students a successful end to the semester.

On December 5, we will host University of São Paolo’s Fernando Limongi's presentation, Impeaching Dilma: a tragedy in three acts. Two days later, on December 7, our own Consortium on Afro-Latin American Studies Post Doctoral Fellow, Lorena Telles will present Partos, Pospartos y Parteras. The University’s winter recess starts on December 17. We look forward to a successful December and what 2024 will bring
