The CLAS Staff promote the mission of the Center and design programming to enhance students' classroom curriculum.

The CLAS Student Ambassadors represent the Center on campus and help the Assistant Director for Academic Affairs in connecting with undergraduate students by conducting class visits, hosting informational events, and working on projects throughout the academic year that further the Center's mission.

Each year, the Center for Latin American Studies hosts Visiting Faculty members and Scholars from across the globe to teach courses, conduct research, and engage CLAS initiatives.

The mission of the Committee is to integrate support for the Center’s mission with strategic planning and budgeting in order to facilitate development of the Center’s areas of excellence—support for faculty research, university and community programming, student scholarships, and staff support.

The Board of Advisors advises, suggests, and recommends strategies to the Center for Latin American Studies in order to enhance the University’s position as a distinguished institution that emphasizes teaching, research, and public service related to Latin America and the Caribbean. The Board assists CLAS in working with local, regional, national, and global constituents to foster awareness, facilitate networking, and attract resources to support its mission within the University.
