Last Thursday, CLAS hosted a roundtable discussion with Dr. Marcia Chuva (Federal University of the State of Rio de Janeiro - Unirio), Dr. Leila Bianchi (Unirio), and Dr. Aline Montenegro (Museu Paulista da USP) on their research on slavery and memorialization in Brazil. Thank you to Pitt's Dr. Jennifer Josten for making remarks after the presentation!

This event was part of the “Slavery and Memorialization in the Atlantic World” Series organized by Dr. Keila Grinberg, Dr. Alaina Roberts, and Dr. Pernille Røge.
