Full-time Swanson School of Engineering.

Must have at least a GPA of 2.5. Must not have had any disciplinary sanctions in the last year. Cannot be in your final semester. Awardees must be willing to help promote the program they attended in the semester after their experience (will be asked to present in one class; willing to be contacted via email to answer questions of prospective students).

GPA 3.0, In Good Academic Standing. The scholarship may be used for any combination of tuition and other academic fees, room and board, travel and transportation (including internal Japan travel), and other approved expenses.

Undergraduate student at the University of Pittsburgh Oakland Campus, Degree seeking Full-time status for no less than 2 terms, returning student – will return to the University as a full-time undergraduate student the semester immediately following the learning experience, OCC Honor Society member – have fully completed all goals and requirements of the Outside the Classroom Curriculum.

Female Students, Full-time, Degree-Seeking Student, Junior, No Previous International Experience, Sophomore, Undergraduate.

Requirements/Intended Use of Funds

GPA 3.0 for a summer international experience as well as structured leadership development retreats and a Community Engagement Experience to women of sophomore and junior status with no previous international experience. Emphasis on Diversity Indicators (STEM, ethnicity/racial, LGBTQ, financial need, disability).
