Affiliated Faculty

More than 60 faculty drawn from a wide range of disciplines and professional schools are affiliated with the African Studies Program. They engage in research on a broad array of topics related to Africa and the African experience and offer instruction to both graduate and undergraduate students containing significant Africa content. They also work in close collaboration with partners in African institutions to advance research, student exchanges and service. Affiliated faculty contribute to the formulation of the program’s academic and intellectual agenda and utilize the program and its resources as a point of convergence, sharing trends, information, and teaching resources related to Africa and collaborating on research across units on campus.
