Digital Archives and Pacific Cultures is a collaborative effort between University of Pittsburgh faculty and students to explore the voyage narratives from the 18th century European expeditions to the Pacific Islands through English poetry, prose, and first-hand accounts of what was witnessed during the journey. The aim is to understand more about Polynesian culture when the Europeans first discovered the new world.
