GLOBAL LEADERSHIP NETWORK INTERNSHIP: JAPAN AMERICA SOCIETY OF PENNSYLVANIA (JASP)

The Asian Studies Center is offering an internship opportunity, designed for a full-time Pitt undergraduate student interested in working with the Japan America Society of Pennsylvania (JASP). 

Qualified applicants will submit: 
Letter of intent: a well-composed statement of academic intent addressing why you feel that you would be an appropriate participant in this opportunity

GLOBAL LEADERSHIP NETWORK INTERNSHIP: FILIPINO-AMERICAN ASSOCIATION OF PITTSBURGH (FAAP)

FAAP is working in conjunction with the Asian Studies Center, University Center for International Studies at the University of Pittsburgh to offer a 3-credit, internship for undergraduate students enrolled in the Asian Studies Center during Spring/Summer session.

The Asian Studies Center is offering a 3-credit internship opportunity, designed for a full-time Pitt undergraduate student interested in one of the following: Chinese language, Japanese language, or Social Studies education. Preference will be given to students who are currently enrolled in the ASC Undergraduate Certificate Program.

The Asian Studies Center (ASC) invites applications for the Chinese Language Social Media intern. The applicant must be a currently enrolled Asian Studies certificate student or Transnational Asia certificate student or be planning on becoming an Asian Studies or Transnational Asia certificate student at the beginning of their internship year and must exhibit outstanding ability (QPA of 3.0 or above). The recipient of the fellowship will be required to work ten hours per week during the spring term of the 2023-24 academic year. They will assist the ASC Associate Director and staff in the development and oversight of China-related social media and communications.
 
BENEFITS:
The position is a student worker position that pays $12/hr at 10 hours a week.
