Join the Pitt Global Hub and Global Ties for a fun trivia game that will test your knowledge on international aspects of Pittsburgh and Pitt!
Participants will be randomly assigned into teams to compete. This is a great chance for incoming international students to get to know one another and meet domestic students as well!
Further instructions on how to play will be announced during the event. Please be sure to have the Zoom application downloaded onto your device ahead of time. Registration will end on Thursday, July 16th at 5PM ET!

Language Coffeehouse

Take a break from studying to order and enjoy kaffe and kanelbullar in Swedish, chai and chakli in Hindi, or gazoz and kuru pasta in Turkish! Instructors and students from the LCTL Center will teach you how to place your order in Swahili, Quechua, Irish, Greek, Amharic, Vietnamese, or one of the 15 languages we offer. Then you can place your order at the LCTL Coffeehouse and enjoy free drinks and snacks from around the world. This is the international study break you have been waiting for!

Seijin Shiki

As part of a collaboration between the Yasuda University students at the English Language Institute and the Asian Studies Center, we will be hosting the second Seijin Shiki at the University of Pittsburgh. We would love to have Pitt students participate. If you are turning 20 years old this year (April 2019-April 2020), we invite you to be part of the ceremony.
