Joyce Fettermann holds a PhD and a master’s degree in Cognition and Language from the State University of Northern Rio de Janeiro (UENF), Brazil. She majored in Languages (Portuguese and English) and has been teaching since 2007, with experience in both public and private schools, as well as language institutions and universities. Joyce specializes in English and Portuguese as foreign/additional languages and has also contributed to the creation of educational materials and courses in Brazil. She has published several papers and books from an interdisciplinary perspective, exploring the intersection Language teaching and Technology. Her primary research interests include the integration of technology in education, Multiliteracies, Multimodality, and Assessment in language teaching and learning.
