SACNAS at Pitt

Our Club's Mission:

The Society for Advancement of Chicano/Hispanics and Native Americans in Science (SACNAS) at Pitt is an inclusive organization dedicated to fostering the success of students and professionals in minority groups with attaining advanced degrees, careers, and positions of leadership in STEM. At SACNAS, we understand that diverse voices bring creative solutions to our world's most pressing scientific problems. That's why our main goal here at Pitt is to achieve true diversity in STEM while providing vast opportunities for our members to enrich themselves through research, mentorship, professional development, leadership development, and most of all a welcoming community.

Club meetings:

We meet biweekly from 9 to 10 pm on Mondays during the Fall 2020 semester.
