This week: CLAS celebrates its 60th anniversary with Brazilian artist Emicida
Emicida, welcome to the CLAS 60th Anniversary Celebration!
Please join us in celebrating CLAS’s 60th anniversary on Friday, September 27th, at 5:30 pm, at the Frick Fine Arts Auditorium (650 Schenley Drive, Pittsburgh). We will screen the documentary Emicida: AmarElo - It's All for Yesterday, followed by Q&A with Emicida, and a reception. The event is free and open to the public. On Wednesday and Thursday, September 25th and 26th, Emicida will teach the one-credit course “Brazil: It’s all for yesterday”, on Afro-Brazilian history, music, and culture, mediated by CLAS director Keila Grinberg.
