Because of the unusually warm weather in the Pittsburgh area since the start of the year, it is hard to imagine how Spring Break is only now around the corner (March 5-12, 2023). Among the highlights for March we start with a Panoramas event featuring Elías Chavarría Mora, and another excellent Charlemos discussion, as well as the first of the CULTNA series for 2023. The second half of the month incudes another Panoramas roundtable, led by Castilleja Fallon Olmstead and the last film in the CLAS Cinema film series for the Academic Year, El Secreto de sus Ojos, on the 23rd.  We look forward to seeing you join us, virtually or in person soon.

National Scholarship Alumni Panel

Languages Across the Curriculum Online Info Session

The University Center for International Studies (UCIS), with funding from Pitt's Title VI National Resource Centers, has embarked on a four-year initiative to increase the number of LAC courses offered on campus. Join us to learn more about LAC and how you can combine your personal world language proficiency with your non-language teaching/research expertise and provide students with exciting opportunities to enhance their learning. Any faculty, administrators, and students who are interested in LAC courses are welcome.
