In cooperation with academic departments and professional schools at the University of Pittsburgh, the European Studies Center sponsors academic and policy conferences covering a variety of topics. Some of our past conferences have included collaborations with the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences, the Center for International Legal Education, the University of Pittsburgh Medical School, the Graduate School of Public and International Affairs, and the University of Pittsburgh departments of Anthropology, Political Science, and History to name a few.

Friday, April 13, 2018 - European and Eurasian Undergraduate Research Symposium (location to be announced)
May 2-3, 2018 - "Taking Europe Beyond the Ivory Tower: A Symposium on How Universities Can Best Promote EU Visibility, Knowledge, and Outreach" co-sponsored with the Center for European Studies at the University of North Carolina, Chapel-Hill. This two-day conference will take place in Washington D.C. at the EU Delegation to the U.S. and the Melrose Georgetown Hotel.
