The ESC typically provides classes of small size (averaging 25 students), many of them taught by internationally renowned faculty. Courses are cross-listed across departments, professional schools, and other interdisciplinary programs. Courses about specific countries, with a comparative and regional focus, and courses highlighting the intellectual foundations of West European culture form the program's core. Such courses offer students the benefits of both breadth and specialization.
GENERAL EDUCATION CERTIFICATE COURSES
The following lists include General Education courses that also count toward each respective certificate. Students who have already taken these courses may also use the courses to count toward the certificates.
