Through the Bridge to Europe initiative and with funding from the European Union and the US Department of Education, the ESC is expanding its K-12 outreach programming targeted at high schools and high school students in Pittsburgh and the surrounding regions. If you are interested in learning or teaching more about Europe, whether you are a teacher, a student, or somewhere in between, explore the many opportunities for curriculum development, field trips, class visits, and more!

School Visits
Prominent scholars, policy makers, advocates, and other visitors working in careers related to European politics, culture, are made available to area high schools on an ad-hoc basis. 

Teacher Forum on Internationalizing the K-12 Classroom
Organized in concert with the other area studies centers at UCIS is a competition and conference that celebrates educators, school leaders, and pre-service teachers who engage students in global awareness.
