Through experiential learning, high school students engage directly with global issues by assuming the role of world leaders and negotiating responses to timely topics.

The Undergraduate Research Symposium is an annual event since 2002 designed to provide undergraduate students, from the University of Pittsburgh and other colleges and universities, with advanced research experiences and opportunities to develop presentation skills.

The High School Model European Union is an annual event for high school students, with this year's simulation taking place virtually via Microsoft Teams. The goal of the Model EU is to give high school students the opportunity to learn about the workings of the European Union through a hands-on simulation of a meeting of the European Council.
