Community Partners

The Global Studies Center is proud to partner with globally-oriented organizations in Pittsburgh to offer our community innovative, interdisciplinary programs. If you are interested in developing a global approach to programming in your organization and/or expanding your reach on Pitt’s diverse campus, please contact us: global@pitt.edu

Some of our current partners include:

City of Asylum

This fall, Global Issues Through Literature participants will enjoy exclusive discussions with authors at City of Asylum in Pittsburgh.

Carnegie Museums

The GSC regularly offers educator workshops and student programs around museum exhibitions.

Global Minds Initiative

Global Studies students have an opportunity to work alongside the creators and curriculum designers of this after-school program, and help introduce the program to additional area schools.

Pittsburgh Public Schools

We are launching an undergraduate internship program in the teaching of world languages. Interested students and teachers should contact Maja Konitzer for more information about applying or signing up to host an intern (at no cost).

Pittsburgh Arts and Lectures

The GSC is excited to work with Pittsburgh Arts and Lectures to offer innovative enrichment experiences for ticketholders next spring.
