A fluent speaker of Portuguese and Spanish, Themudo’s research focuses on the impact of the nonprofit sector on development, especially on the fight against corruption and environmental protection. He has worked with a number of NGOs, such as Amnesty International and the Coalition to Stop the Use of Child Soldiers, and was also a visiting professor at El Colegio Mexiquense in Mexico.
