Sara Wagner York or Sara Wagner Pimenta Gonçalves Júnior, visually impaired person and visiting professor at the University of Pittsburgh-Pennsylvania. She holds a PhD and Master's degree in Education, specializing in Gender and Sexualities, School Counseling, School Supervision, and School Inspection. She has a Bachelor's degree in English Literature, Pedagogy, Vernacular Literature, and Journalism. She is known as the first anchor of Brazilian journalism through the TV Brasil247 media. She volunteered at the British NGO Sahir House in the United Kingdom (2011/2012). She received the ALUMNI Medal from Estácio de Sá University (2017). She is an advocate for ANTRA and the Campaign for the Right to Education. She is a member of ANPED's Scientific Accessibility Committee. She serves as the second financial secretary of ABETH and is a co-founding member of CIPAAI - Chamber for the Implementation of Anti-Racist and Intersectional Policies at UERJ. She is a CAPES scholar.
