Title: East Asia Semiar: University of Pennsylvania

Location: University of Pennsylvania Center for East Asian Studies,  Williams Hall 255 South 36th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19104‐6305 

The University of Pennsylvania Center for East Asian Studies is offering a 30-hour NCTA seminar that will begin in Spring 2019. The seminar will begin on January 26, 2019 and end on April 6, 2019 for a total of 7 sessions. The seminar will be led by Lesley Solomon and Margaret Lonzetta. 

Designed to deepen your knowledge of China, Japan, Korea, and  Mongolia, this course will encourage teaching and learning   about East Asia’s political, social, and cultural history. Each session is built around a content speaker and group discussion, making the seminar perfect for K-12 teachers of World History,World Cultures, Geography, Economics, Language and Language Arts, Literature, Visual and Performing Arts.
